Other Ways to Donate

Another important way to help the library is by volunteering. We have 28 regular volunteers who man the check out desk, allowing us to be open additional hours. Volunteers also work at fundraising events.

Make a Donation

The Craftsbury Public Library is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. Each year the trustees send a request for donations letter to the patrons and the community. The donations received from this letter are an important piece of the overall funding for the library.

In addition to the donations of money received, the library also receives gifts of books, audios and DVDs. If an item is already in our collection, or is not suitable, we sell the donation at our annual book sale, thus bringing in more money for new books. We also receive donated subscriptions to magazines and newspapers.
