Plant Sale and Book Sale

The annual Plant Sale fundraiser for the Craftsbury Public Library will take place on Saturday, May 20 from 9AM-1PM.  The sale will be held in the basement of the Church on the Common.  There will be an excellent selection of perennial plants, donated by neighbors and reliably hardy in this area.  There are also usually some great shrubs and small trees such as lilacs, forsythia, and hydrangea.  Pete’s Greens is growing 8 different varieties of tomatoes just for the sale, including slicers, cherries, paste and salad tomatoes.  The Librarian team of Linda Wells and Susan O'Connell will be on hand to offer advice on the best plants for your setting.

There will be a concurrent Book Sale in the library with fiction, non-fiction and children’s books, plus a collection of movies for sale.  There are some great new novels as well as old classics, plus some excellent new books on topics from wildflower identification to art instruction to understanding astronomy.

Please contact the library at 586-9683 or craftsburylibrary@gmail.com for more information.
