Services and Programs Reference ServicesThe
librarian is happy to help find what you need whether for school reports,
Internet information, or a good book. The library has current encyclopedias,
as well as reference material available through the Vermont On-Line
Library, a huge periodical database. Library ComputersThe
library has three computers available for public access to the Internet,
with printing capabilities. Patrons
can browse the web, access e-mail, read the New York Times, or listen
to music. The library has
a satellite Internet connection, allowing for high-speed access. Users
who are not familiar with computers or the Internet may request assistance
or personal assistance. There
are also computer classes available for patrons. The Library encourages parents to work with their
children on the Internet and provides information to help them find
appropriate sites for children. Ordering BooksIf the library owns a book but it is in circulation,
the patron may reserve the book. Interlibrary loan is available at
the library through their computerized access to the Vermont Automated
