Services & Programs
The library offers 10 computer workstations with high speed internet access and black and white print capabilities. The wireless signal is available for anyone to use 24 hours a day. Assistance is available from the librarians as needed, and once a month the library offers a computer clinic with 30 minute tutoring slots available with a computer teacher. The Library encourages parents to work with their children on the Internet. The library upholds the Library Bill of Rights and does not monitor or regulate internet use for adults or for minors.
The following equipment is available for public use: black and white copier, color copier, scanner, and fax machine. Costs associated with running these machines are passed on to the users, therefore there is a cost for black and white and color copies, but the use of the scanner and fax machine is free to all users.
The library provides all patrons with access to Universal Class which provides free online classes in over 500 subjects to anyone with a library card. Contact the library for your card number. Foreign languages classes are available through Powerspeak Languages, a part of the Vermont Online Library. Contact the library for the password.
