"Talk of the Porch 2.0" –A New Yorker Fiction Discussion Group

The Craftsbury Library is hosting a facilitated discussion group centered on both recent and archival short stories from The New Yorker. This free, drop-in reading group is a next generation version of the project which was held on a weekly basis throughout the summer. This fall, local writers Stark Biddle and Julia Shipley will again host an hour-long consideration of selected short stories, both classic and new, on six dates spread across the months of October, November and December.

November 13 “The Bear Came Over the Mountain,” by Alice Munro
