Download Audio and Ebooks- Download audiobooks and ebooks to your phone with the Libby app, or use your computer or other device. This service is made possible through the Green Mountain Library Consortium.
Click on GMLC, and enter your library card number and password. When you first log in via the Libby app, you will first have to choose Green Mountain Library Consortium, and then Libraries of Craftsbury and Albany (LOCAL).
Kanopy Streaming Movies- Log in to Kanopy for to stream movies from your computer or phone. Monthly account limits apply:
- Movies- 5 credits per month. Available for 48-72 hours.
-Great Courses- 3 available per month. Available for 30 days.
-Kanopy Kids- 30 day allowance.
Click on Kanopy, click “add library card” and create an account using your library card and password.
Inter-Library Loan- Search CLOVER, the statewide interlibrary loan system, for books to borrow. Anyone can search and see what is available. To order an item, email the librarian with your request or ask a librarian to set up your own account. The log in button is in the upper right corner of the site. Enter your library card number & password.
Vermont Online Library- gathers together a broad assortment of databases for all ages, and on a huge number of topics. It offers articles from academic journals as well as popular magazines and newspapers. The In Context databases work like a modern encyclopedia, combining articles with context, images, videos, and links. There are databases available for every age-range, from elementary through post-graduate.
Udemy is an online learning platform with over 20,000 video courses on a huge range of topics: business, programming, music, cooking, and more! It offers well-structured video courses and assignments that you can complete at your own pace and in whatever order you want.
