Two important local organizations are banding together to host a fundraising dance and auction, and the entire community is invited.
On May 20, 2017, the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library are hosting an old-fashioned barn dance at Dave Rowell’s big yellow barn at 42 Whetstone Brook Road in East Craftsbury. The fun starts at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.
The dance will feature music by Danny Coane and the Starline Rhythm Boys. Back Road BBQ and the Craftsbury General Store will provide food, and craft beer will be offered from Lost Nation Brewery and Hill Farmstead.
The night will also feature two auctions, one live and one silent. Bring the family for an evening of great music, great food, auction fun, and to support two wonderful local organizations. Both the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library serve our community’s minds and spirits and exist through support from the community. Suggested donation is $10 to attend, with children 12 and under free.
