On May 18, 2019, the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library are hosting an old-fashioned barn dance at Dave Rowell’s big yellow barn at 42 Whetstone Brook Road in East Craftsbury. The fun starts at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.
Now in its third year, this event has quickly become known as the harbinger event for summer fun. The dance will feature music by The Starline Rhythm Boys. The Craftsbury General Store and Caja Madera will provide food, and craft beer and cocktails will be offered by Blackbird Bar. Lost Nation Brewery has donated several kegs in support of this fundraiser.
The night will also feature a silent auction which will raise funds to help the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library serve our community’s minds and spirits. Bring the family for an evening of great music, great food, auction fun, and to support two wonderful local organizations. Suggested donation is $10 to attend, with children 12 and under free.
