The use of technology has burgeoned in every aspect of life, and particularly in our schools.  Some families are pushing back, and finding ways to reject or reduce technology dependence and the influence of social media in the lives of their children and themselves.  They have brought these ideas together under the Vermont Coalition: Independence Reconnection & Liberation (VT-IRL). 

Craftsbury parent and registered nurse Heidi Eames is a lead member of VT-IRL.  Heidi will share initiatives of the group and ideas for how to dial back technology for adults and family members.  There will be plenty of time for discussion and listening and sharing ideas among participants.
