What might the future of church look like in a changing world?

Katherine Sims recently returned from a week-long Luther Seminary course in London exploring fresh expressions of church, mixed ecology ministry, and creative forms of Christian community in an increasingly post-Christian society. Through slides, stories, and reflections from visits with innovative churches and new worshiping communities, Katherine will share what she learned about faith taking root in unexpected places.

Together, we’ll consider what these lessons might mean for our own faith life here in rural Vermont: how churches can honor ancient traditions while experimenting with new forms of worship, belonging, service, and community.
